Repetition 11/24

While illustrating this design, I thought of perspective and the way people perceive things that they see. I thought about depth and the way it can be represented in different ways. I also thought about the comic-like shading being combined with your regular shading and color block shading as well. Therefore, I did the repetition of space being the way that it’s the space inside of each square, this can also portray the repetition of shape as it shows a pattern.

    Hello, I think these examples of repetition are very cool and neat. one thing that you could have worked on is making the boxes colored in a bit neater other than that it looks cool (Husam Abbas)

    This is fire ��. I like the way you nicely put the pattern (black, white, gray) on each of the box. You also did a good job on putting points well. I agree with the fact that this is repetiton of space because of how each boxes has the equal distances from each other.

    I like the way you made the design look like there is a hole. There is really nice shading especially on the dark sides, it makes the texture look good and can see that it's kind of 3d also.

  While creating this grid design, I had thought of implementing rhombuses, I added texture by not color blocking the whole rhombus and just scribbling in the rhombus fully. The dove design idea came from a necklace I wear daily and thought it was the exact thing that was missing. Overall, illustrating this design was very peaceful and very good way to add a personal touch to a grid design.
